You will serve as an Installation Training Officer in the Operations Training and Exercises Division of NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY MONTEREY.
Duties
You will analyze the impact on mission performance from training and education program issues.
You will identify and implement developmental or necessary training for subordinate employees.
You will collaborate to develop and adapt exercise scenarios that support the command's mission.
You will coordinate with activities to schedule education and training.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing realistic training events that are based on validated training requirements; 2) Assisting in developing the strategy and plan to provide continuous evaluation of installation training and processes; 3) Coordinating installation level Shore Response Training and Exercise requirements based on installation mission and long range training goals.
