You will serve as a Supervisor Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SAR WF) for theI Marine Expeditionary Force of I MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.
Duties
You will supervise a team of Sexual Assault and Prevention Victim Advocates performing the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties including work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave.
You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Sexual Assault and Prevention Response Program within your Area of Responsibility.
You will plan, administer, provide oversight and guidance, and develop and manage overall work of the office.
You will ensure victims are receiving direct and indirect services to receive guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical, investigative, and legal procedures.
You will conduct prevention activities in an effort to reduce sexual assault.
You will formulate and monitor the budget for the program authorized and funded by the agency, and managing day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with mission, function, and operation.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret level security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain access to the Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH) Program, Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID).
- You may serve in an on call duty status outside of normal work hours that includes remaining in a reasonable call back radius, carrying a cell phone, staffing the 24/7 support line duty as needed.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
There is a Basic Requirement to hold a GS-0101 position in the Federal Government. Please see the "Education" section of this announcement for details.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Assisting in managing a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program; 2) Providing guidance and technical assistance on Sexual Assault Prevention and Response procedures; 3) Ensuring that sexual assault victims receive guidance and emotional support during administrative, medical, investigative, and legal procedures; 4) Conducting prevention activities to reduce sexual assault; 5) Providing direction, work assignments, and/or training to peers or lower graded personnel.

Education
Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must have:
Successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
You may substitute education for specialized experience if you have the following:
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
