Duties

You will oversee stock maintenance at or within prescribed levels an establish or adjust stock levels and reorder points using standard prescribed procedures. You will edit supply transactions, or provides customer service for urgent critical shortage/work stoppage items, and other items requiring special handling, when established procedures are not applicable. You will ensure appropriate procurement lead-time and requisition objective levels are correctly loaded to applicable files. You will ensure monthly and weekly reports are properly prepared to include reporting of monthly sales, weekly not in stock or excess items, quarterly excess items and other reports as required. You will establish and maintain memorandum/automated data files to control receipts, follow-up actions, back-orders, stock record changes, requisition files, or similar data files. You will utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System and Dalphin Barcode issue/inventory management system to perform inventories. You will review supply transactions or provide customer service for urgent critical shortage / work stoppage items, and other items requiring special handling, when established procedures are not applicable.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid Forklift Operator license within 6 months of reporting date.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing a variety of supply transactions (e.g., material purchase orders, performing inventories, or similar supply transactions), maintaining inventory control records and procedures, and assisting in the development of required reports to maintain stock levels.
