The primary purpose of this position is to manage name tape and tag contract purchase request, completes contract acquisition packages, Statement of Work (SOW), AF IMT Form 9, Request for Purchase Estimate, monitors Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) transactions and rejects, and performs market research.
Duties
Manage nametape contract to order, receive, and prepare payment invoices.
Assign national stock numbers (NSN), manages stock levels, and process expedited requisitions.
Inspects property with complex and/or unusual characteristic errors and process Care of Supply in Storage (COSIS) transactions and submits and monitors SDRs.
Perform daily, annual, directed, and reoccurring inventories, location validations, and warehouse surveys.
Performs recurring work assignments and storage and issue duties: Perform storage and issue duties; in-checks stock, store property, and issue assets using hand-held terminals and computer products.

- IAW SA-202-25 this position requires a physical/medical examination. The physical/medical requirements of this position as determined are: Work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing walking,
- bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities. Requires lifting of moderately heavy items such as boxes. Must be able to repeatedly lift 40-60 pounds.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, Supply Clerical and Technician Series.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes thorough knowledge of governing supply/DLA regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions to perform a wide range of interrelated or nonstandard procedural assignments and an intensive knowledge of supply requirements to
ensure supply support for production for urgent, critical shortages, or other special items.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of governing supply/DLA regulations, procedures, and instructions.
2. Knowledge of supply/DLA functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods.
3. Skilled in the use of computer software such as word, excel, and power point and data entry and processing of
supply/DLA transactions in an automated supply system. Skilled in communicating factual and procedural
information clearly, orally, and in writing.
4. Ability to apply extensive analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems. Ability to
receive, screen, review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies. Must possess excellent customer
service skills.
5. Knowledge of proper fit and wear of the Air Force uniform.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
