You will serve as a SHOP PROCESS MANAGER in the Nondestructive Testing Division, Quality Assurance Daprtment of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will manage the shops self-assessment program and direct actions to correct identified deficiencies.
You will analyze problems identified in audits, surveillances, Commanding Officer agenda items, incident reports, case histories, and other quality documents to determine causes and trends and recommend or direct corrective actions.
You will identify improvements in the methods and means of accomplishing work and in directing or coordinating the implementation of process and performance improvements.
You will develop short and long-range plans to provide manning, facilities, material, and equipment to support scheduled and unscheduled work for the organizations covered.
You will identify manning priorities and distribute personnel assignments accordingly.
You will manage the cost, schedule, and quality of the work.
You will manage continual workforce training to ensure that qualified personnel are available to meet planned and unplanned work and to support shifting priorities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience overseeing and implementing trade shop process and performance improvement programs and conducting evaluations of available resources (e.g., manning, material, equipment, facilities) to identify deficiencies and develop recommendations for corrective action plans.
