About the Position: The Alaska District is seeking to fill a Construction Management Reports Specialist located in the ECO Division, Construction Branch, Construction Support Office. An ideal candidate will have experience in construction management reporting functions (i.e. scheduling, performance measurements, budget management, reporting metric). Possess an in depth knowledge of CEFMS, RMS, scheduling software including Primavera (P2), and the Microsoft Office suite.

Duties

This is a developmental position; duties listed below will be performed in a developmental capacity at the GS-09 grade level. At the full performance, GS-11, the incumbent will: Responsible for development, preparation, and implementation of AIS objectives, policies, plans and projects for supported construction staff and project engineers. Interpret, develop and implement AIS databases including, but not limited to, general program requirements, reporting procedures, and control. Acquires required data element values for input into RMS and/or P2 for all assigned projects authorized for environmental, design, or construction in the Alaska District. Prepares financial closeout reports, special studies, and transfer documents which track project funding status, project completion dates, owner acceptance, and inspection dates.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Construction Management, Business Administration, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical support by participating in the preliminary analysis of data, developing tracking systems and producing management reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Construction Management, Business Administration, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
