About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HHBN V Corps G-2 Security & Intelligence Division, Fort Knox, KY, 40121-5000.

Duties

Serves as the primary V Corps G2 Intelligence Exercise Planner for all V Corps directed and European Deterrence Initiative (EDI) exercises and operations. Performs the full range of intelligence planning for V Corps training, exercises, and operations. Responsible for the production of intelligence staff estimates, annexes, manning documents, and intelligence architecture. Provides expertise, coordination and guidance for the integration of assigned/ allocated V Corps forces and multi-National foreign forces in exercise planning to ensure adherence with FDO (Foreign Disclosure Officer) process. Assesses operational readiness and training requirements for Regionally Allocated Forces (RAF) supporting Atlantic Resolve and enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) units. Represents the V Corps G2 by conducting daily liaison with joint, allied, partner and subordinate intelligence planning activities. Serves as the subject matter expert in the field of intelligence systems and their associated command and control and communications systems.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 10% of the time.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
