Duties
Prepares Training Authorizations for participants, providing the participant a list of all relevant documents and reports for hotel accommodations, class requirements, travel instructions, per diem rates, funding codes, and other information for participation in training at the Management and Specialty Training Center. Assists the Training Specialists, Training Program Manager, Management and Specialty Training Center Director, and program staff in developing and implementing goals and plans for the operations of the Training Program Department. Conducts maintenance and control of all staff training transcripts and other training records and files, and assists with ensuring that all reporting requirements are met. Performs routine/general maintenance, first tier troubleshooting on reproduction equipment, training equipment, using technical manuals, user guides, and vendor training.

Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: As a general rule, education is not creditable above GL-05 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA’s) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are:
Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel and Adobe Acrobat Programs.
Experience with file management.
Experience with managing multiple products at once and establishing priorities.
Experience developing memorandums and communicating with executive staff.
Experience with computer base applications reports/rosters/wait list.
Experience with equipment scanner/operate technical reproduction material/copiers.
Experience with building training schedules based on need and can add a class to the schedule.
