About the Position: Position serves as a case manager for the Headquarters Department of the Army Family Incident Presentation Program providing policy and procedural guidance to all Army MACOMS units. Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), The Adjutant General Directorate (TAGD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Duties

Assist Colonel (O6) briefers, CAOs, and Family members with issues regarding delayed reports and due outs from Presentations. Ensure all case info is updated in DCIPS including journal entries and attachments. Assist the O6 briefer in preparing and rehearsing the presentation. Receive, reviews, and validates all reports (After-Action Reports (AAR), and Trip Reports)

Requirements

  • Position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5 to 10 days of travel per month.

Experience coordinating time/date/location of presentations as well as assisting with all support documentation associated with the presentation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-09). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience to qualify. For this position at the GS-11 grade Level you must possess:

A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
