This position serves as the first line supervisor and manager of the Front-End Department of a Commissary store. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling, coordinating and controlling front end activities and personnel, and controlling all funds received and deposited daily as part of the front-end department operations.

Duties

Directs the following work in the commissary: Front-end operations including patron identification, customer inquiries, check-out, and cash control Non-perishable stock control including transporting items and stocking shelves Meat display and case stocking Produce inspection, display, and rotation Account maintenance; supply and computer operations Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.

Qualifications

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 level. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
