Duties
Technical liaison to NFC - research, analyzes and resolve problems in automated system.
Monitor personnel and payroll actions and resolving errors.
Prepares sf52s (screens personnel files and databases) for signature and enters personnel/payroll actions.
EOD for new employees on benefits, and position information.

Assists in recruitment inquiries and case file management.
Prepare documents (ER/LR letters, position descriptions, applicant correspondence).
Assist Retirement Officer in preparation of retirement forms and documents.
Assist in generating varying personnel and payroll reports.
Maintains office calendar, logs, and inventories.
Receives telephone calls, emails, and visitors, maintains time and attendance records.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Relevant experience and/or education
- Favorable background investigation
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service
- May be required to successfully complete a 1-year probationary period
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
At the GS-7 level Qualified candidates must possess:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 level or equivalent experience.
Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, for example, Experience maintaining personnel records, conducting new employee orientations, utilizing office automation to perform support operations, using online HR resources to obtain information, researching, interpreting and applying appropriate HR laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines, using HR systems to process personnel actions, query and retrieve information and respond to inquiries.
