This position is located in the District of Columbia (DC) Courts, Human Resources Division, Performance Management and Employee Relations Unit (PERU).

Duties

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Background and security investigation are required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: High school diploma or GED certificate and two (2) years of general administrative experience and three (3) years of specialized experience. Attention to detail, exceptional customer service and time management are required.  Specialized Experience:Providing a variety of HR support services in a performance management or employee relations position, i.e. drafting, formatting, and editing documents; tracking and monitoring data in various systems; and responding to customer calls and inquiries. Your resume must reflect the specialized experience, or your application will not be considered. Equivalent combinations of relevant education may be substituted for general experience.  Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
