About the Position: This position is a Military Technician position with the 88th Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) 66, located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Duties
Plans weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
Establish deadlines and priorities based of work schedules and policies established by higher levels of supervision.
Explain work requirements, methods, and procedures; instruct subordinates in the new procedures; and provide advice when problems arise.
Review in-progress and completed work for adequate quantity and quality.
Investigate work related productivity problems and identify corrective actions that can be implemented for improvement.
Develop performance standards; counsel employees on performance; make formal and informal performance appraisals.
Interview candidates for vacancies and recommend selections.
Maintain production reports and records.
Identify employee training needs and initiate recommendations to provide necessary training.
Operate the full range of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.
Perform operator's maintenance on all vehicles in accordance with established rules and regulations.
Requirements
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Class A CDL.
- This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.
- This position requires a medical examination prior to employment.

Prioritize workload based off future deadlines, identifying training needs, and operating the full range of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Working Conditions: Work is performed on concrete floors and in drafty areas, occasional working outdoors during inclement weather. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acid which may result in bruises, cuts, skin irritation and burns. Wearing of hearing and safety equipment required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
