You will serve as a Intelligence Specialist in the Office of the Commander of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will apply structured analytic techniques to improve intelligence analyses and to develop intelligence assessments.
You will collect data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments.
You will evaluate intelligence collected in response to collection requirements to eliminate gaps through the development of new methodologies and techniques for collection applications.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may requires a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Participate in managing and revising existing collection requirements, create new collection requirements, submit and track requests for information throughout the command.
2) Coordinate collection and production support throughout the Intelligence Community (IC) and create overarching collection strategies to support these operations.
3) Represent planning teams and working groups to encourage and facilitate collection liaison with counterparts throughout the Intelligence Community (IC).
4) Ensure all sources of collection are exploited and intelligence requirements are met to support intelligence preparation, planning, target development, operational planning and measurement.
