This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will identify material to maintain segregation of trash and recyclables. You will segregate material during trash collection, recycling, and disposal operations. You will follow written or oral instructions related to laborer duties to accomplish each phase of the work in the most productive manner. You will clean equipment after usage to extend the life of the tools. You will follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment. You will sort recyclable items by loading or unloading items into designated containers.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• You will be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
