The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is October through April but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: October 2023.

Duties

Duties include: Operate heavy power equipment such gas powered toters, portable power tools, and all types of trail hand tools (such as shovels, Mccloude's, Pulaski's etc.) to maintain park wide trail, and trail corridors. Load and unload suppliess and materials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc., and move furniture. Remove and set up signs, paint signs, hike on uneven terrain carrying a 50-pound pack. Use and maintain heavy type power tools, including adjusting blades, cleaning, and oiling. Perform basic trail maintenance.

Qualifications

Have the ability to do the work of a Laborer without more than normal supervision. (Screen Out) work experience such as: performing basic trail work; performed trail maintenance work, such as digging ditches, brushing, and other manual labor tasks.
