You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the office of the Comptroller Division of AEGIS Technical Representatives (AEGIS TECH REP).

Duties

You will create funding documents, lines of accounting, sales orders, and various financial reports. You will perform final billing functions, research and correct unmatched disbursements, clears billing blocks, reviews un-billed account receivables, and tracks labor costs. You will monitor / adjust spend plans, compose / track support agreements, and plans / project cost of requirements. You will conduct studies, gather and analyze financial data, to improve the accumulation, processing, and reporting. You will prepare data for presentations or reports on financial goals, objectives, and information to meet programmatic, budgetary, management initiatives, and directives. You will perform budget planning and related execution tasks, analyze various program requirements, and makes recommendations on the allocation and execution of funds. You will maintain a knowledge of DoD FMR 7000.14 R, U.S.C 31, Managers Internal Control Program, DAR-Q Reviews, FIAR, and other DoD financial regulations.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Program (N-ERP) or General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to perform financial data management/budget-related functions. Experience may reviewing and consolidating financial data to provide information such as status of funds reports and execution reviews.
