Duties
As an IT Specialist, you will:
Plan, analyze, design, develop, test, perform quality assurance of, configure, install, implement, integrate, maintain and/or manage agency delivery of end-user systems.
Implement and manage the daily operations of agency audio, video, email, communications and collaboration system deployments with skills in installation, maintenance, licensing, and management of cloud and on premise services; and troubleshoot, inventory control, software upgrades, and managing services.
Support all OCC customers for assigned area of responsibility, including troubleshooting of problems daily. Inform customers of the direction of agency initiatives and provides training, as needed. Provide guidance on proper use of IT policies, standards, hardware, and software to OCC users.
Promote teamwork in the agency. Develop project plans and resource estimates, assign tasks, provide guidance and monitors progress. Maintain knowledge of new developments in computer technologies.
Perform full range of project management activities. Manage multiple projects or tasks through the systems development life cycle from project initiation, through requirements, design and development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and retirement, using a standard methodology.
Manage, install, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all software and hardware to assure optimum performance.
Participate in the development of policies and procedures for assigned specialties.

AND
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-IV band level or GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Developing or implementing cloud services in the Microsoft 365; AND
Implementing or designing conference room audio visual (A/V) services and processes; AND
Assisting with research and analysis to improve business processes related to Microsoft 365 services.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
