Duties

Serves as Project Team Analyst/Coordinator/Member for Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Projects. Assists in the planning and execution of Value Stream Analysis (VSA). Facilitates, provides guidance, and assistance for various CPI projects within the organization on quantitative and qualitative techniques, quality process improvement and compliance, cost benefit analysis, and project management. Ensures all projects comply with applicable DoD/Federal/Industry processes, policies, procedures, compliance, risk and controls. Reports tangible cost benefits, Return on Investment (ROI) and process and risk management compliance results gained from recommended processes, and provides valid measurement between the ROI and DLA/MSCs/Services/Suppliers Products and Services.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst (CPI) your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Using tools and practices of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and project management. - Executing improvement projects utilizing tools and techniques that effectively achieve improved mission performance, goals and efficiencies in work processes while reducing risk to mission and custom support. - Developing and adhering to organizational policies, practices, instructions, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, job aids and checklists. - Developing and executing complex communications, to include oral presentations, other written documentation through utilization of all available communication tools. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
