About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army Cyber Command, Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Manages occupied facilities and conducts support to ARCYBER and subordinate organizations, to include oversight of current and future construction and building modification; management of on-going maintenance; and leased space coordination.
Directs the analysis, evaluation and development of various facility and security assessments, forecasting required resources, and tools. Develops methodologies and policies for implementation across ARCYBER elements.
Responsible for performing Directorate functions of facilities planning, safety, security, and management, and other project assignments involving the application of interdisciplinary skills.
Supervisory responsibilities include planning directing, coordinating, and evaluating the work of subordinates..
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military External Affairs Division (MEAD) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
- Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 20% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP Secret clearance.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by (1) Outlining and implementing policies and procedural programs in support of facilities sustainment, restoration, and modernization. (2) Assisting with analyzing various facility and security assessments, forecasting resources and tools. (3) Providing managerial oversight and leadership of a multifaceted and diverse program segment that includes administrative work that affects a large multi mission military organization and advising leadership and other personnel of the impact of changes on the mission. (4) Exercising a full range of personnel management responsibilities to include planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating, the work of subordinates.
