About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Duties
Analyze data such as reports, charts, graphs, brochures, and statistical data.
Monitor a variety of support programs within an organization such as security, travel, training, and files.
Make travel arrangements for organization's supervisors.
Provide coordination for special training courses within the organization.
Utilize various computer software programs to update monthly charts and reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
- This position is subject to Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel up to 10%.
- Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.
- Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years.
- Temporary reassignment may be made or extended at management discretion.
- Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years.
- This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performing office automation support such as preparing documents, reports, and correspondences utilizing automated data processing systems; 2) Reviewing documents such as correspondence and reports for grammatical errors; and 3) Utilizing automated systems such as Automated Time Attendance and Production Systems (ATAAPS) and Defense Travel Systems (DTS) for inputting employees timekeeping and travel arrangements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
