Job opening: Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary Associate DAS (Office Of Housing Counseling)

Salary: $155 700 - 183 500 per year

Duties

As an Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary Associate DAS (Office Of Housing Counseling), you will: Identify and integrate key issues affecting the organization, including political, economic, social, technological, and administrative factors. Design and implement strategies, which will maximize employee potential and foster high ethical standards in meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Anticipate, identify, diagnose, and consult on potential or actual problem areas relating to program implementation and goal achievement. Review and approve position and policy documents on a variety of wide-ranging and complex issues, processes, and procedures requiring intense effort, and involving numerous phases of operation that are pursued concurrently or sequentially with support from within and outside the organization.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Working in housing, community planning and housing industry risk management, federal budget formulation and execution for a medium-to-large financial institution, or government agency; AND - Developing and implementing organizational policies, plans, procedures, and operations guidelines that supports sustainable, responsible homeownership and quality of community living, or institutional risk, program or major organizational leadership; AND - Directing and supervising a professional staff. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
