About the Position: Serves as Chief, Plans and Operations Division, Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) with responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, managing and reviewing all actions concerned with providing logistical planning support for the LRC.
Duties
The incumbent assures timely operational support and integration of new or changing Material Maintenance, Transportation, Supply and Services logistics planning concepts.
Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates.
Inspects for conformance with policy, regulatory, and program requirements and recommends, initiates, and advises on or directs corrective actions necessary.
Reviews and analyzes the division short- and long-range strategic logistics planning objectives and goals.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing plans, programs and operating procedures for logistical support operations; overseeing supply services, budget and/or fund estimates to determine if program requirements and objectives are being met.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
