You will serve as a Secretary (Office Automation) of PSNS and IMF.

Duties
You will maintain and control the supervisors' calendar and advise on daily appointments or conferences.
You will receive and screen visitors and phone calls.
You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information.
You will establish and maintain files primarily for the use of the supervisor including correspondence and reports.
You will obtain and relay current information on project status and problems encountered.
You will arrange for travel, schedule visits and reservations by creating and reviewing travel orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS) and assist in completion of travel vouchers.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Seret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and
maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes
continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational
Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- You must be able to lift and carry items that may weigh up to 45 pounds.
- You will be required to complete a correspondence course within six months of starting a position.
- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or
night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating clerical or administrative support. Examples of specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Arranging meetings and appointments. 2) Arranging travel, scheduling visits or reservations. 3) Receiving and/or filing technical information and records. 4) Composing routine correspondence.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating clerical and administrative support. Examples of specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Arranging meetings and appointments involving a wide range of activities. 2) Arranging travel, scheduling visits or reservations. 3) Receiving, assessing, issuing, and/or filing technical information and records. 4) Composing routine correspondence and following-up to ensure timely replies.
