About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
Reviews directives, policies, and procedures developed by Department of Defense, DHA, NDMS, FEMA, FORSCOM, IMCOM, and MTF.
Requests and justifies an annual budget to support and sustain the MTF emergency management program.
Analyzes and evaluates plans for current operations, emergency planning and confers with members of various staff offices.
Develops and conducts training for all new employees and annual training for current staff members.
Schedules and oversees a systematic review and revision of each section of the EOP annually.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- This position may require the incumbent to work on call during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules.
