You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the CONTROL DIVISION, AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC.
Duties
You will determine appropriate source of supply and authorize procurement or manufacture of material when material is not readily available in the supply system.
You will increase and improve supply effectiveness and support.
You will gather and analyze information from maintenance and stock points as necessary to ensure stock requirements are filled and support problems are identified and corrected.
You will draft and release correspondence to direct rerouting requisitions to available sources.
You will order material for stock and follow up actions until material is received on station.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing, coordinating and initiating replenishment actions for specific supply support programs (i.e. transient aircraft, Shore Consolidated Allowance Lists (SHORCALs), Splinter SHORCALs, etc.) to ensure materials are available for weapons systems maintenance projects.
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support services in the management of a stock availability to support fleet units.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled;
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
