About the Position: Position is located at US Army Cadet Command, Deputy Chief of Staff, Junior ROTC (JROTC) Operations & Training Division, Fort Knox, KY
Duties
Serve as resource point of contact for program planning.
Manage and coordinate the Instructor Professional Development Training for the Command.
Perform research for the Training Division.
Develop command guidance for the Training Division.
Track training status for the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 10% of the time.
- One Year trial period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work which involves preparing documents using a variety of Training Programs automated systems, databases, spreadsheets and word processing software. Experience in applying HR statutory and regulatory requirements, objectives and policies governing training program operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-07

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Education

Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree from an accredited college or university.
