Duties

As an International Standards Liaison, you will: Provide support on international data standards initiatives, and operations, including providing support directly to the Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC). Provide support on the ROC's work on highly complex international policy developments, involving multiple U.S. and international organizations. Perform analysis of complex financial industry issues relating to the establishment and implementation of data standards and provide leadership in identifying and prioritizing the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of international financial data. Summarize and draft responses to ROC member and public comments received on proposed ROC reports and policy statements drafts final reports for the organization. Advise on financial industry and regulatory authority data standards and financial market operations.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the OR-53 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-52 (GS-12 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience providing support on international data standards initiatives, and operations, including working knowledge of the Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC); AND Experience writing materials such as reports, speeches, or presentations for senior officials; AND Experience serving as an advisor on financial industry and regulatory authority data standards and financial market operations. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the OR-53 (GS-13 equivalent), you must have been at the OR-52 (GS-12 equivalent) level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
