This position is located in Yosemite National Park, in the Division of Facilities Management.

Duties
Install, repair, and maintain a full range of lock systems on a variety of locking devices typically found on commercial and residential doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, vaults, and other secured areas.
Troubleshoot and test all locking mechanisms, circuits, terminals, modules, and other related items.
Utilize and enforce a key control policy, control system, and intricate coding system for cylinders for multiple uses so that a single key may be restricted or utilized for several locks.
Overhaul, install, maintain, modify, and repair various types of computerized and electrically controlled locking devices and digital access control systems.
Repair or replace hinges and door closures to ensure proper closing and locking of doors.
Install, replace, paint, and touches up doors due to weathering or when neutralization of lock occurs.
Operate a light truck or van to and from job site in the performance of these duties.
Serve as an expert in physical security locking systems, capabilities, and functions.
Works closely with tenants, engineers, and estimators to determine the most suitable security containers and locking devices to be used in solving unique security problems.
Study and interpret locking requirements to obtain necessary information and details to produce the required results.
