About the Position: This position will serve as Lead Human Resources Assistant with responsibility for leading the work of military personnel clerks in the Military Personnel Division, Reassignment Processing section.
Duties
Serve as a leader and final reviewer of routine actions completed by lower-level military personnel clerks.
Process permanent party/student Soldier personnel assignments, reassignments, reclassifications and actions that involve unusual or complex procedural or substantive issues.
Assist with personnel strength functions for officer and enlisted personnel.
Prepare endorsements for student assignments and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.
Interface with strength management and Command assignment managers to obtain student officer and enlisted assignment pinpoints to process Requests for Orders.
Coordinate with other major installations and overseas liaison offices regarding Family Travel decisions and ongoing problems and issues.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
