You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ASSISTANT (OA) in the INSTALLATION AND LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties

You will review and/or draft revisions to regulations, directives and memoranda on administrative functions. You will prepare internal and external correspondence, and receive and log outgoing correspondence, reviewing it for correct format, punctuation, spelling and correctness. You will maintain a suspense system for all externally assigned taskers. You will assist in coordinating the planning and scheduling of all organizational training. You will serve as the Information Services Coordinator (ISC) system administrator. You will assist in developing statistical data and special reports, compiling and preparing drafts and finalizing technical papers or instructional materials.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Preparing correspondence, assisting in the compilation of reports, technical and instructional materials, AND providing guidance to IT personnel on the capabilities and use of operating systems and applications for an organization. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
