You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Resources Management Directorate, Human Resources Office of the MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Duties
You will manage, direct, and supervise an assigned team of Human Resources personnel.
You will identify, distribute, and balance workload and tasks among team members in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or key functional specialization; ensuring that each employee has an integral role in production management.
You will provide guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection, and other approaches that may help in staffing the organization.
You will research the qualifications and skills needed and conduct job analyses with subject matter experts to distinguish well qualified applicants.
You will explain regulations, procedures, and determinations to inquiring employees, candidates, and supervisors.
You will supervise assigned human resources personnel in position management, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and compensation that provides services to complex organizations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, directing, and coordinating a variety of work related to recruitment and staffing; providing technical and administrative expertise in pay/compensation; and must be familiar with position management and/or strategic workforce shaping.
