This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division, Board of Professional Conduct
This position primary purpose is to serve as a Member of the Board of Professional Conduct and is a recognized expert in the administrative community performing work in the collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination of information.

As a your typical work assignments may include:
Reviewing HRB case files of all referred investigations from OPR, DOJ-OIG, and IN.
Ensuring all relevant records are incorporated into the case file to include but not limited to, e-OPF documents for termination, resignation, retirement, NFC performance evaluations, and management actions.
Coordinating with Office of Chief Counsel and Records Management to gather all requested case files to review relative to Freedom of Information Requests or discovery related to legal proceedings.
Reviews outgoing correspondence for content, clarity, consistency, completeness, and compliance to organizational policy.
Requirements

Qualifications
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent
For GS 12:
You must have (1) One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector, which demonstrates my ability in: 1) Consistently reviewing the effectiveness of a program and provides recommendations on ways to improve the overall program; 2) Planning, organizing, and carrying out analytical studies involving the planning development, and implementation of major agency programs and their impact; and, 3) Reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining case files to ensure compliance.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS- 11. The grade may have been in any occupation but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
