You will serve as a Management Assistant (OA) in the Combat System Integration Process Team, Code 151T of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will provides administrative and management support to the AEGIS Test Team (ATT).
You will utilize IT systems to prepare official correspondence, maintain electronic correspondence and files and manage ATT personnel and material.
You will manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including receiving, distributing, assigning action, ensuring completion of action, typing, copying and filing.
You will receive visitors and telephone calls, determines the nature business of visitor or caller, and routes them to the proper person for action or assistance.
You will serve as ATT' s budget manager, prepare and submit an annual spending plan, prior to the beginning of the fiscal year for supplies, IT, subscriptions, and office equipment.
You will establish and maintain tracking mechanisms and monitors the expenditure of funds against expected levels and work with SUPSHIP Comptroller Directorate to resolve any discrepancies with billing.
You will maintain department personnel and training files, working closely with individual civil service members
of the ATT and with SupShip training coordinator to identify training requirements and prepare individual training plans.
You will maintain personnel access and lock combination records and prepare and oversee security watch bills.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require combined sedentary ( office setting) and shipboard conditions which require some walking, climbing and bending.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in the development, analysis, evaluation, and improvement of an organization's daily operations..

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- One full year of graduate level education in a field of study directly related to the position; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
