Serves as the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program Manager. Reports to the Technical Operations, Technical Services Organization, Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Support Operations Group (EOSG), EOSH Program Support Center.

Duties

Oversees safety or occupational health program elements including fall protection, electrical safety, confined space and hazardous materials.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-I level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience in or related to safety and occupational health that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes: independently conducting environmental/safety inspections of workplace hazards including asbestos, mold, drinking water, electrical, confined spaces, and elevated work surfaces.
