This vacancy is for a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) position in the Department of Commerce located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.
Duties
Develops Infrastructure as Code [IaC], documents and maintains architecture diagrams, code libraries, service modules and related design materials.
Manages multi-cloud Direct Dialing In (DDI) and Public key infrastructure (PKI) Authentication services.
Remediates related performance issues and outages
Monitors versioning, system health statuses and performs upgrades, mitigations and remediations.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized Experience includes: Managing multi-cloud enterprise services using DevOps methodologies & Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Authentication architectures and workloads. Ensures all production components adhere to secure baselines. Mitigates vulnerability and compliance findings. Monitors versioning, system health & remediates outages and performance issues.
In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
CISSP; AWS Solutions knowledge preferred.
