Duties

Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Maintains related cash records. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet state/local age requirements (18) at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
• Certificate of Medical Examination required.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires constantly standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching.
• Must be willing to work irregular hours to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on mission needs.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skills and Knowledge: Able to work alone. Know proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Know simple food handling techniques. Able to serve uniform individual portions. Avoid distractions when several guests ask for different items at the same time. Able to use simple arithmetic. These skills and experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits however, there is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligation and work scheduling requirements).
