THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 ?EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5199000 and is part of the FL USPFO, National Guard.
Duties
As a, Management Analyst, GS-0343-09, you will review organizational information (i.e., TDA organization and function manual), previous audit and inspection reports, applicable Department of Army (DA) or United States Air Force (USAF) regulations, and activity mission statements to identify tentative sub-objectives or "firm" objectives based on the role of the audit assignment. Perform management studies of organization's auditable entity to identify potential problems such as reviewing operating procedures and management practices of the activity. Prepare audit lead sheets to identify potential weaknesses in internal controls. Conduct troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation such as work processes, functional responsibility, operating techniques, organizational structure and other factors effecting the efficient and economical use of available resources.
Requirements

- Selectee must be Financial Manager Level 2 qualified within 2 years of employment.
- Incumbent must possess or be able to acquire the appropriate level security clearance for this position.
- Candidates must possess a valid State driver's license for the State in which they live or are principally employed.
Qualifications
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Army meet our mission requirements as an Management Analyst.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

NOTE#:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 Must have at least one year experience at the GS-07 level in the normal line of progression through federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that provided you with a working knowledge on the state National Guard structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience applying practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management analysis of Army National Guard Programs.
Education
To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
