About the Position: The position is located with the 81st Medical Group, at Keesler Air Force Base. The incumbent will be in and around the kitchen area and will require lifting, standing and walking for prolong periods of time.

Duties

Set up dining room tables for service. Set up, operate, disassemble, clean and reassemble dishwashing machine after each use. Remove inspection doors, strainer pans, screens and spray arms for preventive maintenance and cleaning. Portion, wrap assemble and arrange salads, desserts, juice, jell-o, sandwiches and menu items for patient tray line.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• Emergency overtime may be required.
• The work may require the employee to possess a Food Handler's Card and use/wear appropriate uniform, safety, and sanitation equipment.
• May be required to attend Quality Improvement Training and to participate in section Quality Improvement Teams and data collection efforts.

Work area has adequate lighting.
