You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Public Works Branch Installation and Environment Division of MCLB ALBANY GA.
Duties
You will plan work, set priorities and ensure accomplishment of maintenance, repair and minor construction.
You will plan and program facilities maintenance work by developing long-range maintenance plan and annual/quarterly work programs.
You will screen and classify all work requests, including emergency and service type work, plan and estimate standing (recurring) and specific (non-recurring) job order work, obtain and control need material supplies.
You will develop, plan for and evaluate base service contracts ad minor construction contracts.
You will perform budget formulation and execution of the PWB budget for multiple fund sources, approving budget plans within program priorities.
You will monitor and review obligations and expenditures, and reimbursable orders.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You may be required to be recalled to duty, should it be required due to an emergent situation.
- You will be required to sign an agreement not to disclose, in any manner, Classified Information to unauthorized persons.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You are required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and coordinating facility operations including operations, maintenance and repair of utility systems.
