You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN of CENTER FOR SUBMARINE. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Duties

You will review purchase request to confirm appropriate purchases. Use an automated supply system and software to construct records in support of transactions. You will prepare requisitions and other documents to process supply transactions. You will use an automated supply system and software to construct records in support of transactions. You will process command requests (e.g., property requests, temporary loan of equipment requests) to provide supplies. You will prepare correspondence for supply transaction files.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Utilizing automated organizational supply systems; 2) Determining budget requirements for current and future fiscal years; 3) Establishing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for program or project management; 4) Operating various material handling equipment, e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, band trucks, dollies.; and 5) Utilizing property and inventory management principles, policies, procedures and techniques necessary to determine requirements, storage capacity/capability, conduct inventories, replenish material, and disposition excess/obsolete material.
