Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately 6 months, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.

Duties
The major duties of the Maintenance Worker WG-4749-05 position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide routine maintenance on park facilities including, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical work.
Assist higher grade maintenance employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
Safely and effectively, uses hand power tools required for the job and has the ability to maintain these tools properly.
Qualifications

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.
To qualify, there is no specific length of training or experience required; however, your resume must demonstrate enough experience to show your ability to perform the duties of a Maintenance Worker without more than normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
