Duties

Providing an exceptional end-to-end customer experience to our stakeholders, respondents, data users, and the public CSD employee will implement strategies to better align workforce skills with current priorities, modernize enabling technology. Consolidate transactional functions, improving service and cost-effectively deliver high level of service to internal and external customers while measuring the effectiveness of partnerships and collaborative efforts. Provide administrative technical support for LAN-based IT systems supporting program goals, implement innovative enterprise IT solutions, document, and maintain procedures. Monitor, manage, upgrade management systems in accordance to Census current process and effectively engage management of status.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes :Evaluate and develop IT solutions to assure IT provided desktops and laptops are adequately supporting Census employees efficiently. Using technical knowledge and experience to assist staff in managing IT systems/applications. Monitors management systems to proactively determine system(s) health in reducing system failures. Monitoring staff and project progress to ensure on time. Experience performing application management of users, system performance, and patch updates. Experience with Microsoft InTune in a cloud and/or configuring cloud environments utilizing Azure Web Services. Ability to manage/perform and monitor device upgrades within determined schedule.In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
