Duties
Leads analysis of planned orders, providing analytical input and decisional authority on systemic function and / or policy that drives requirements outputs in planning systems.
Conducts policy analysis and provides expertise and advice in the development of new or substantially modified policies, business rules, or processes that result in changes in Local or Enterprise-wide Planning functional operations.
Provides advisory services to the MSC Leadership, Process Owner, and other Enterprise Management regarding Local or Enterprise-wide impact of Planning functional process performance issues and changes.
Analyzes, develops, documents, and evaluates complex Planning requirements and systems, to support training, policy or process documentation, and creation of Internal Controls to support Audit Readiness.
Prepares detailed written reports containing concise findings and innovative recommendations for improving Planning process and policy effectiveness, enhancing end-user training, or improving system performance.
Monitors Planning system for anomalies and alerts Leadership to shifts in planning outputs, system, or process functionality.
Provides integrated project leadership, support, and management across Planning division, MSCs, other process areas, including the development of analysis, recommendations, execution, and tracking.
Provides coaching, mentoring, and training to team and end-user community, as well as to Enterprise peers in support of developing Planning excellence.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Utilizing planning systems system applications (i.e., JDA, SAP), identifying limitations, and recommending solutions and/or enhancements.
- Developing, evaluating and monitoring planning system metrics to ensure the process area is meeting performance targets.
- Interpreting regulatory requirements that impact the planning process area and ensuring compliance.
- Developing and delivering training materiel for new or existing policies or processes.
- Advising higher level management of planning functional process performance issues and changes.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
