Duties
As an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER at the GS-0341-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Provides the administrative and clerical support to the Operations and Integration leadership to include management of the OI Director's planning priorities, tasks, contacts, engagements, travel, and records.
Participates in the formulation of the Director's position on program planning.
Reviews and evaluates program management data submitted against established program objectives.
Provides management information, advice, and assistance to the Command Group on any program/project assigned.
Oversees administrative support.
Oversees development and implementation of general administrative procedures and policy for the OI staff.
Supervises the command element in the performance of administration and logistical support for the Director, OI.
Represents Director, OI when engaging with higher level echelons.
Addresses all administrative operations and logistics problems and seeks appropriate solutions.
Maintains authority and responsibility for resolving all administrative problems.
Maintains effective working relationships across DTRA and OI on matters concerning human resources (HR) and personnel matters in order to provide support to the Director on a variety of HR matters to include but not be limited to: awards and recognition program administration; performance management and appraisal program administration; and recruiting and hiring actions.
Determines administrative training requirements and advises the Director, OI, as to the kind, frequency and attendees of appropriate training.
Plans, conducts and evaluates on-the-job training of personnel and monitors progress until competence is developed within the functional areas.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience engaging with senior executives, general officers, and customers at the individual and organizational level providing oversight, advisement, and technical support on a wide variety of administrative programs.
Experience serving as technical expert on a wide range of administrative and management concepts, policies, and practices and program goals in order to manage and direct administrative matters within the Directorate.
Experience perceiving and reflecting the executive leaderships' official policies, intentions on significant matters affecting the organization, and maintain positive personal liaison throughout all contacts.
Experience effectively interfacing with civilian senior executives and/or military General/Flag Officers and International partners or Foreign Coalition/Allied officials as required.
OR
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience assisting with supporting Senior Executives officials and/or senior management staff with scheduling, clerical and a variety of administrative support.
Experience assisting with a wide range of administrative and management concepts, policies, and practices and program goals in order to manage and direct of all administrative matters within the Directorate.
Experience assisting with interfacing with civilian senior executives and/or military General/Flag Officers and International partners or Foreign Coalition/Allied officials as required.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
