THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MOBILIZATION AND DEPLOYMENT SPECIALIST-TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD2025000 and is part of the KY J1, National Guard.

Duties

As a MOBILIZATION AND DEPLOYMENT SPECIALIST-TITLE 32, GS-0301-9, you will serve as the Mobilization/Deployment Specialist for the Installation. You will provide oversight, planning, interpretation and application of policy. Provide guidance and assistance to subordinate units in Mobilization Planning Data Viewer (MPDV) coordination and synchronization with deploying units, medical detachments, Office of the State Surgeon, G3, G4, and other State agencies and programs. Coordinate the composition of the SRP manning requirements based upon the needs of individual units. Make immediate decisions to realign resources towards the resolution of SRP site specific problems of limited scope. Coordinate with the mobilizing unit chain of command, intermediate commands, SRP site proponent, JFHQ, Mobilization Station LNO, and various State agencies and organizations to ensure that procedures meet office needs and are consistently understood and followed. Provide guidance on appropriate response to action or often prepares response, if appropriate, based on knowledge of subject matter. Maintain Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) master calendars and related appointment/meeting schedules. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Administrative or clerical experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience managing, coordinating and planning functions directly related to the position. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Experience developing administrative procedures; compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
