This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Program Performance, Analysis and Evaluation in Washington, DC. This Director oversees the Analysis and Evaluation Division in building the SBA's analytical and evaluation capacity as well as supporting analysis of program performance, evaluation and economic and regulatory impact.
Duties
Oversees and manages regulatory impact and economic analyses for Federal regulations.
Oversees and manages program evaluations for Federal programs.
Oversees and manages data analyses projects and advises on analytic methods.
Leads specialized teams and projects through project management to meet key stakeholder needs to deliver timely and quality products.
Serves as an advisor to senior leaders on executive and statutory requirements for analytic and evaluation projects.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service, obtained in either the private or public sector: managing large-scale program evaluations for small business or economic development programs; applying economic analysis and quantitative method techniques for regulations; and leading multi-stakeholder teams to plan, develop, and synthesize research to improve Federal programs. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.
