Duties

Plans, markets and conducts an ongoing program to provide conditioning programs for facility users. Instructs individuals and groups in the proper conditioning and training for aerobic and muscular fitness, body composition and flexibility. Instructs patrons in the proper use of equipment and self-monitored progress by preparing written instructions and procedures for use of equipment and safety of all users. Supervises assigned personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

Qualifications

Standard Qualifications: Experience which enables the candidate to independently carry out a basic physical fitness program. Education or experience in managing a physical fitness program. Highly Qualified: Degree in Health & Fitness or two (2) years' experience in the Health & Fitness field and high school diploma. Must have current nationally recognized certification of the following: personal training, group exercise instructor, CPR & AED. One (1) year ofplanning, developing, and conducting a diversified fitness program through proper application of the fitness principles, concepts, and techniques. This experience must be clearly reflected on your resume and certifications/degrees must be attached to your documents. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.
