Duties

As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will: Assign, direct and review the work of subordinate employees; plans schedules and coordinates work operations of the Division; resolves problems related to the work of the Division; develops the subordinate staff s performance standards; approves/disapproves employee requests for leave and rates performance; recommends awards and takes disciplinary action when necessary. Serve as the acting official in managing region wide functions of the office, including office administers, operational and resource functions; supervises office staff; and signs official correspondence. Assist in the coordination, development and reporting of the office-wide management plan. Recommends appropriate actions to resolve/remove bottlenecks, problems and assure goal accomplishment.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Analyzing and evaluating issues related to office operations; AND Contributing to the development of policies; AND Developing reports for management officials that outline findings and recommend solutions; AND Coordinating projects and building relationships with organizations in designated communities. (e.g., government and advocacy groups). Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
