The incumbent will serve as an IT Specialist (Network Services) in the Enterprise Data Services Team. AJW-B130. Acts as a technical expert system network analyst under minimal direction of a management while independently performing multiple, varying and complex activities.

Duties

Represents FAA as a senior technical POC on projects, programs or other work activities. Manages LAN/WAN computer networks and communications systems. Oversees administration of LAN/WAN virtual infrastructure and the resources on which it relies. Implements and administers common TCP/IP based services within a complex enterprise datacenter environment. Combines knowledge of NAS systems and cybersecurity expertise to tactically apply information security/information assurance principles to track all planned changes to assigned systems, assessing planned changes to determine potential system security posture impact, ensure timely identification and reporting of planned NAS system changes with potential cybersecurity impact and support cyber operations activity.
